A seraphic sound emerges between
during an exchange with the man on the moon
The stars glimmer in the country azure
and reflect in the tears of the polis
in perfect cadence.
The wind whispers through maize
And howls betwixt tall giants
in perfect harmony.
Like two versus in a melody;
Together and apart.

hey... wandered over to your blog from Ian's page. hope you don't mind me commenting, but I really like this line: "during an exchange with the man on the moon"
ReplyDeletewordplay of versus rather than verses intentional? I hope so, because I like that, too... especially after the line about harmony.
